Dr. Sean Carey was born and raised in the SW Calgary community of Woodlands, where he attended Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School before receiving a bachelor’s degree in Biological Science from the University of Calgary. During this time, Dr. Carey discovered his passion for community work and helping people improve their lives and began to learn more about the dental profession through Dr. Adrian Harbison. Dr. Carey credits his work with Dr. Adrian Harbison, for teaching him about the positive impact dentistry can have on peoples’ lives, and his passion for dentistry was born!
Dr. Carey studied dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry, where he graduated with honours. During his time in New York he was able to cultivate his passion for working with people and making positive differences in the community. In 2017, Dr. Carey had the opportunity to return to the city and the clinic that had originally ignited his passion for dentistry, and he continues to make a positive impact on his community to this day.
When Dr. Carey is not busy seeing patients at West Peaks Dental Suite, he keeps busy with a variety of activities, like skiing, hockey, wake surfing, running, soccer and managing his four dogs.
